Frequently Asked Questions
What do you do in those meetings?
The meeting usually has two parts. The main part is where we read a book, article, or paper, watch a video, or occasionally have someone present. This is the only part where we record videos.
Afterwards, we hang around and chat: people share personal projects and interesting things they’ve come across, and we usually walk through that week’s Graphics Programming weekly newsletter. We tend to get progressively off-topic; think of it as a bunch of friends hanging out.
The meeting time doesn’t work for my timezone. Can you change it?
We’re sorry the current meeting time doesn’t work for you. Unfortunately, our current meeting time is determined by the organisers’ time zones (North America for Charles and JB, and Asia/Pacific for Lesley), so it cannot be changed.
However, if you want to form an alternative meetup of the same theme (whether under the GPVM banner, or your own thing), let us know!
